ID Software's new game: RAGE

Okay just canceled my order rather to be on the save side. Batman is around the corner and well spend my money on that rather.

Don't like the "Characters looks like cardboard cutouts that you need to talk to over and over again for them to say anything"

From what I've seen regarding Rage, im pretty hyped on getting this game, Visuals, Gameplay and the gun fights look great and ID software knows how to make FPS games, so im sure this will live upto all there other classics like DOOM and WOLFENSTEIN :cool:

I'm feeling the same way as you.
I have Batman on pre-order, but I'm very interested in this game.

The game looks pretty amazing, and being an ID software game you would really not expect anything less, but after its release it seems that people are complaining quite a lot about the game, mostly regarding the Visual Glitches in the game on the PC, Bethesda have in return said that gamers need to download the latest Drivers for there hardware. But all things aside, Id still love to try out this game :)

Ive tried it out briefly at work, emphasis on briefly, Co Op only, so far so good but too soon to be specific or at all critical will update after some more hours of play, still wanna try out the single player and the other multiplayer modes.
 
damn! this game is 18GB and now the update they release is another 1GB! I hate it when they cant fix a game before they release it!!
 
The gameplay, so far for me, is very similar to Doom and Quake, but running on a new shiny engin. Graphics are great. The game is too similar to Borderlands. What I miss, spoiled by Battlefield 3, is some more environmental destruction, example, I shoot at the skulls on poles or a planks, but nothing happens.
 
I'll perhaps wait another month (until the all bugs are fixed... and price dropped :)) and then get it with Saints Row 3, LA Noire and Batman all at once... got a lot of eBucks piling up for next month :)

I didn't know much about this game or anything and then I saw some in-game footage somewhere where you walk into a Wolfenstein room and it brought back old memories... I know it is not a very good reason to get the game, but I suppose it is A reason, none the less :)
