The Verge has a very long history of insulting the people that they interview or do a story on. I was on the show once for the Mortal Kombat Controller that I built. Even though the interview was fine, the presenter proceeded to insult me the second after it aired.

So again, insulting people is what they seem to do best.

I think they are catering to the rest of the people who think all of those said things about gamers. That find i weird and funny that we can play games and go to LANs etc.

The losers-who-crawled-out-of-the-basement stereotype is what shocks me the most about it. I mean, seriously, that's 20 years old now. It's one thing on FOX News, it's quite another thing entirely on a gaming TV show. What the fuck were they thinking.

Also, as a woman, I'm kind of offended by her appealing to that I'M HOT BECAUSE I'M FUCKING STUPID mentality.

@Xero, eh that may be, but as long as everyone keeps it civil and doesn't go down some distasteful routes, I think it's a point worth discussing. I happen to agree with Azi 100% Lalla does little for gamers or for women in general with her displays on that feature.
