Swapping your EA Master ID (BF3)

Since BF3 Directly links your master ID you can ask for a swap, but be prepared for a few requirements and determinations first. Currently they only accept an ID swap to a different name IF it exposes detail linked to your social ID, first name, lastname. However you can plead your case for other reasons and see if they bite to change it.

After being relentless about it they've agreed to swap mine to something else.

Did anyone else go for a ID change or going too ?

Damn dude, doesn't matter what subcategory I change it to, it always asks me for irrelevant information like CC numbers and shit. I just want to contact them without filling product codes and kak?

Can't yyou just send them an e-mail saying "please change my master ID to this or that because I couldn't name myself that because my nick was used for my Battlefield Heroes soldier?"
 
Cranky has used that tool to swap his ID from PrincessDiaryLover to Cranky, so must work :P

Lol. Can't see why he'd want to change it. Ultimate name for owning people in FPS games XD. Plus I'll keep this in mind when I decide to change my details. Ok well, when I stop procrastinating and actually do it :-P
 
I havent created my origin account . And it would be littleponylover.. get your facts str8 xero.

5 okes so far on SGS forums have done it successfully and its working there is another work around you can do via an android phone but it looked to be a mich

Just use 123 for CC, what I did, use valid birthday.

Ah damn, I couldn't use that app. Says my name is already taken by someone else. I know who it is though. It's me! But I can't change my main ID to one of my aliases.

Ffs, this is so stupid. Hey, how stupid?

Then you have to use support :)

Fill in the details, but CC just go something like 123. I suppose that's "part" of verifying your, but I didn't need that, just a good motivation on why I wanted to change.

I've asked for one of my aliases, but they want 5 options so I gave that to them in order of preference. This takes time, they only responded after about 2 days.

Yeah, I did that now. Also in the Q to speak to another advisor and I'll ask him if he can, by any chance, delete my Battlefield Heroes account. The only reason I created that stupid account was so I could have the M1 Garand in BC2. Little did I know. Should have called it LittleRedRidingBalls or something. Sigh.

I think it makes sense to keep it the same, otherwise you could sell the game second hand? So wheneva you choose a name.... make sure it is something that you want to keep.

Battlefield Heroes was a free to play game. Shoulda just made a random account.
