A few minutes...? More like a couple of hours But sadly I cannot give feedback since I do not have a pc to control its power..

It always says its a 100% done then It does nothing and I say resume download it reverts back to 88% I don't know what to do.

Back up your files and opt into the origin beta client. Under Origin > Settings > General > Origin Pre release participation

I read on ea thing that I should let it download.

I think its the patch. I see in the bf 3 folder the patch folder

I had a problem installing the patch(470mb), the Repair Install (Origin-->My Games--> BF3 (Right click on it choose Repair Install option) solved it. I had to use the Repair option twice when my downloading of the patch broke at 68%, it never wanted to resume and of course again when it did not want to install the patch.

I take it you are running the latest Origin, BTW every time you use the Repair Install option it will download the patch again

You probably know all this already but it helped me.

The thing is its not even installed. Its just staying 100% and downloading more stuff. I don't know what I can do.
All it says is resume download or cancel and so on.

Wow that sucks, no one willing to sponsor DVD's or anything? I would since they are useless without the CD keys being used.

It does I don't have a working dvd player and don't have the money to get a new one.

All I need is working installation files. I heard downloading the pirated version will work. Don't want tot do that but I am left with little choice.

Guys what joystick (cheapest decent one, nothing fancy) would you recommend for BF3?

Been flying the jets and love it, but dang its not great using kb/mouse to fly...

Also anyone find that the sound range of vehicles is messed up - if I'm facing the direction of where the vehicle is (ie. in front of me) then I can hear it, but turn 180 degrees and I can't hear the vehicle at all... !?

I'm using 2.1 speakers.
