I was going to write an article on this game, but right now I can't be distracted from varsity work (he says whilst making a thread on the forum). It is called Spaceengine and it rocks my socks.

All i can say is that you need to play this. The visuals are procedurally generated and make for some breath-taking moments. Feel free to post your screenshots!

PS I am a huge noob who doesn't know how to upload screenies to MyGaming forums, any advice is appreciated.

Can't check it out at work as the computer doesn't meet the requirements, might see it at home.

I'll leave some pro-tips in advance (I know you guys don't read the readme).

1) Press 'G' to go to a celestial object selected with the mouse.
2) Press 'Shift+G' to land on selected celestial object.
3) Press 'F2' to view the planets in a solar-system.
4) Search for 'Pandora' under 'Navigation' -> 'Find Object'. Go to the planet from "Avatar"! ???? Profit!
5) Press '`' (tilde) to hid the HUD when taking screen-shots.
6) Play ambient, 'spacey' music when exploring the depths of the known universe.
7) Select a galaxy with the mouse-cursor and press 'Ctrl+G', wait for the camera to pick up speed, and then zoom through the stars at a speed faster than is physically possible! (Spoiler: prepare to face the most terrifying 'thing' in the universe at the centre of a galaxy, a super-massive black-hole)

PS if anyone is getting problems with using an AMD card, let me know and I will post the .ini fixes (config file fixes) that you won't find on the official forums.
