Skyrim fans beware!

Good thing I've already downloaded it...

I mean, good on Bethesda! Using their resources on something more worthwhile than suing Mojang for naming a game Scrolls.

Cool, Ill be sure to avoid all things Skyrim on Kotaku.

Here is something non-spoiler yet EPIC Skyrim related.

I'm not clicking this. Ever. I'll just have to tank the next 11 days, even though I don't have any games to play (besides some repetitive farming in Final Fantasy 13). Going to be a long wait.

It looks like it'll be a pretty good RPG. Give it a look-see :)

I thought you were just as bad an RPG-whore as me?

You'll liiiiike it, yes you wiiiiill!!!

Lol, ok I tried but it really isn't streaming nicely here, might try again later, but no luck here.

haha I am at work so the internet connection here is very quick, compared to most people at least. 10mb/s capped. I am actually downloading hence the reason why it took so long to load the video clip.

I'ma klap you soon :p

hahaha. Its the end of the month so we have about 20 gigs to use up in 2 hours. hmm, what to do, stay later and watch this video or go home lol.
Actually though, one of the biggest reasons why I want to get this game is firstly to get it before my brother does just to wipe it in his face that I have it and he doesn't.
and I got about 40 odd hours into Oblivion and then he oversaved my game so I want to see if this game will be as good, (didn't fancy Morrowind much :wtf:)

@ Simon

This time both of you will definitely need your own accounts, unless you like sharing your steam account. (Skyrim is Steam integrated)

I have steam, he doesn't but I am sure that will change when he sees how awesome it is on my computer and I start telling him to buy his own game instead of using it on my pc lol

Morrowind was okay but I hated the dialogue system. Oblivion was just fucking awful--I have yet to meet a single person who says it was a "great game" who didn't mod the hell out of it to MAKE it a "great game."

Skyrim looks to have fixed everything I hated, so I'm hugely optimistic about it :)

Also, it's difficult not to get completely overwhelmed with the hype around it :p

I think Bethesda have made a brilliant RPG... so far. I'll know for certain come next week Friday :D

Ya you see the problem with me and Elder Scrolls games is that I started playing Gothic. I compared all games to Gothic and found that those games are a lot easier to play and the quests are more varied.
I actually had to check that next Friday was the 11th, seems so close already. I really do hope that Skyrim has fixed everything as I too want something to fill the void that unGothic4 left and till Risen 2 comes. But damn I have too many games to play

You and me both; on all counts :)

Yeah I restarted Oblivion like 8 times trying to figure out what I was doing wrong because I wasn't enjoying it. Only after I got some mods altering the leveling system, npc interaction etc etc was it fun, and only then was I able to spend more than 30 hours on the game. That's also the reason why I pre-ordered Skyrim on PC and not Xbox, for if modding becomes necessary :S
