Damn, was just about to link that article ^^ Well, if you head on over to GW2guru ALOT of people are convinced that it's going to be a Mesmer, however how a mesmer would play out in the setting of Gw2 remains to be seen :?

I really enjoyed playing with my Mesmer back in the day on GW-was a very different class that allowed for a lot of creativity! But I kinda hope its a completely new and fresh profession!! Just for the fun of it :D

(and tooo sloooow ;) )
 
Eish if they pull of half of what they promise then this is the first MMO I will actually be REALLY excited about and I have gone through almost every big MMO launch since 2004.

They are really trying to bring innovation to the genre.

I really do hope it lives up to expectation, but Im starting to get a bad feeling that it wont :(

Dont get me wrong dude...I have been looking forward to this game since it was announced and been following it ever since. Just trying to keep my expectations low...because I have built up this game to extraodinary standards in my mind!

Yep most of us have been hyped by the game, I have also been following every piece of information available, and submitted most of the links here. I have to say the lack of information got me disappointed at the state of the game; it still felt far away. The new blog post gave some exciting new info, but I think a big factor for it was the raging GW2guru members which just sounded unreasonable with their ranting. As Magnar said it will be epic, the demo footage cant lie THAT much can it?

So, what will they reveal on the 11th??
 
I hope it is as incredible as they are making out. WoW needs to be knocked off their almighty high horse. I don't understand how they have survived so long... :? I am usually a FPS guy/ some RPGs (like Oblivion). But if this is a hit, I may well get it.
 
I think all I need right now is some new tantalisingly delicious bit of information to get me foaming at the mouth once more :D Like the 8th class? Lets wait and see what happens on the 11th...
 
Im not so sure they will announce the 8th class. At rage i attended the GW2 event at the main stage and the devs there said they were keeping the 8th profession really close until they were much closer to release.

This makes me sad :( Oh well...any major announcemnt will be good! Maybe Beta date announcement?

Thread on GW2guru about the upcoming Gstar convention in Korea, apparantly it's the big marketing release over there, so something big is bound to be announced, also happens to be on the 11th.... :?
 
Yes there is no doubt in my mind that this game will be mindblowingly awsome, have never been this excited about a game before. Every piece of info I see or read about this game just makes me feel that much better and more excited, just can't come soon enough. But I'm glad they don't force a release date, there will be plenty to keep busy with till this releases, and I'd rather they take their time and make the best game possible, then rush and fok alles op. :D

They could just release the game as it is now, I'd still buy it :O
Hell, as it is right now, I'd say it beats WoW allready (Yes, comparisons are going to be made, get over it)
 
Looks much better though! The eyes are too small for me to really notice anything majorly wrong. I love the character detail-especially the armour! wow :D
