Also, agree - there are a lot of okes that play with "COD" mentality unfortunately. This IS an objective based game and team-play is essential to winning. We won 9 maps straight tonight because the other team was camping and sniping there dicks off. Is so frustrating when you rush towards the objective or when you have to disarm your mcom and you see your team mates hanging back to pick off enemies from the back etc. Enough venting...

On the other hand, your kill/death ratio is seen by others and does hurt your pride a little if it drops below 1.0 :)
 
A k/d ratio is nothing in the grand scheme of things though ...... if people linger on that, they will never truly play the game as intended. I have just below 1 but I know that I play objectives. These dicks that sit with 40 or higher kills every round, they're not helping diddly.

I beg to differ... some of those guys actually do a lot for the game in many cases and aren't just camping.

It is the ones that have that but the game is lost because no one was moving up that makes me get angry.
 
K/D is still important as you need to stop the other team achieving its goals as well as staying alive to accomplish yours... but it is not the whole game.

but yeah I get abit anoyed with some squads I end up with. they never work together so I end up going lone wolf which is no fun.
