Upcoming Battlefield 3 patches/fixes

I dont get why people use the flash light, sure it blinds your enemy but it also gives away ur position, same as the laser sight. I use the sidearm with the tac light simply coz it can save my life in a moment. But on my main weapon i keep these attachments off.

Well the most fskd up thing about the flashlight is that it's off centre most of the time. You think oh cool, I'll just shoot to the centre of the light...nope..doesn't work that way. And the flash is just WAY too big. I've used it a couple of times and I always wondered why noone shoots at me. It's because it's totally ridiculously blinding. I also don't really use it because it's a dead give away when you're trying to make a stealth infiltration :D

I also use the taclight M9, but I usually turn the flashlight off because it annoys my teamies when that big ol' floodlight is shining in their eyes.

But if you know is a bit off center then just shoot a bit to the left. :p
 
it's why it is called a TACTICAL LIGHT :D

guys should have it off when not in combat, and just turn it off when they going CQB or entering enemy territory.

besides, as mentioned, if you use a flashlight in maps like Metro, you give away position and guys can just sit and watch you make your move.

any1 else notice how the laser sight shines through walls? now and then you can also see the flashlight through a tree or just barely behind a wall.

@OTF Yeah dude, but most teamies just LOVE flashing that shit in your face, and you know it! Haha. But yeah, they need to tweak a LOT of stuff in this game still. Not to mention fix all the origin/battlelog problems, game crashes and weird glitches.

But I'm really hopeful of the next client patch. I'm keeping a close eye on that!
 
damn, its about time. I've started a bad habit of killing teamies who sit and shine it in my face for ages.
 
I've had way to many TK's because the idiots run into the room that you guarding with out any warning and all you see is this damn blinding light, so do you shoot or not:? usually i just shoot to be safe, if the idiot wants to flash it in my eyes its his own fault for dying then.
 
Looks like the new Origin update fixed it closing on itself the whole time. Also, my game crashed a lot less tonight, but it still loads kak slow.
 
soooo many tk's due to bloody flashlights and people charging into my line of fire when i go full auto with a mg :mad:
