When did the news page change. It looks different? And is that the new comment system?

Not really a kink. That's the point of the system. You can post as an unregistered guest, but you'll enter a moderation queue and we'll get around to moderating it eventually; probably a few times a day during the week, and well, whenever we feel like it on the weekend :P
 
Oh and I should mention that I'm looking at implementing Disqus ranks for fun, so having a regular account for commenting has some more appeal.
 
It looks very sleek. Though there's one thing that I would like to be able to do which I currently can't. Middle click on one of the news main pictures to open the article on a new page. Currently middle clicking enables scrolling instead of the default link behaviour.
 
maybe its just me who doesnt like changes, just doesnt feel like mygaming, less interesting :/ ... will probably get use to it ......

I just tried it out. You're right.

I can't post using Disqus.

We've asked the developers to fix that; they're on it.
 
Well, the amount of useless drivel being spewed in the comments section is already significantly less. (Except for the guy trolling as me, of course)

I don't think I've seen even one console wars comment so far.

Well, it will mitigate the problem. At first there may be an influx of troll attempts, but as we build up the moderation list we'll weed out the nuisances.

Still, people are entitled to post their flames - We've gotta pay the bills somehow :P
 
Looks much cooler, thought something went wrong with my pc when checked the reviews. Homepage doesn't look much different just more.....cool:D
 
I like the moderation of comments now, and the fact that it's much easier to check the archives. Also the layout looks cleaner to me, and more up to date. It also looks like they made more space for articles, so we now get bigger pictures and longer articles. Which is fine by me.
 
Yes! The search function actually works now! WHOOP!

Glad you like the new layout :) We wanted to make things more visually appealing and give ourselves space to work with enriching the articles with images and videos.
