I have started my own nursery school. got 6 kiddies currently (the 7th will only come back in aug, due to sickness).
two are babies (one is 6mnths, the other 15months) and they're currently sleeping. the others (one almost 3 - mine-, another 3 yr old, another almost 2, and a 5 yr old - mine) are busy building puzzles. I gave all of them new, more difficult puzzles to keep them busy for longer...
...so that I can chat
Well arn't you the maternal type. Better you than me Choc. I have a nephew that lives with us, not even 2. He's cute as hell but sometimes i want to kick his little ass.

weird thing is, I actually enjoy it. been doing it for 12 years now. did some other work inbetween just to see what it is like. but I keep on going back to teaching lil ones.
there are days when I feel like making biltong or roast out of one or two of them
hence why oc is always asking for his usual (baby roast)

and I married a german. I hate family gatherings! as they all tend to speak german... they do try and speak eng/afr, but that usually only lasts a short while, and then they start speaking german again

Lol Know the feeling, i don't actually speak it, understand some. Most my family do speak it. Miss my grandfather, he could cook up the most wonderful sourcroat & cartofolin (Drool) not to mention Sous Kleitjies. MMMM

I can understand a little bit of german too, provided, they don't speak too fast. and some sentences I can understand by making deductions of some of the words they mentioned in the sentence.

no, he just is one of those kids that just have to see bacteria from 10m and he'll get sick. don't know what he'll do once he has to start primary school. and he is soooo damn slow in all he does! takes anything from 20-40min to finsh a plate of food, regardless of what it may be
