Anyone here who can brag about being able to play BF3 on Ultra settings ?
If so , drop ur specs here ..
My pc is so slow i can barely play with all the settings on low ,
so just wondering what kind of rigs you guys are running and anyone is even able to run on full graphic settings ?

p.s. I also have a huge stutter problem in bf3 , the sound clips and stutters like crazy , like crazy (like crazy)
Pretty sure its due to the age of my rig , I .... cant doing captain ! Shes gonna blow ! :P

Intel Core i7-2600K (3.4GHz, 8M Cache, 8x Cores) Overclocked to 4.6GHz Per Core CPU
ASUS P8P67 Pro (B3) P67 LGA 1155 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Motherboard
NVIDIA GTX 560 Ti Gainward GoldenSample 1GB 256bit DDR5 DX11 Graphics Card
1TB Seagate Barracuda 7200RPM SATA3 6.0Gb/s Hard Drive
Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 1600MHz High Performance Gaming RAM
Corsair TX650M 650W 80+ Modular High Performance Power Supply
Corsair Hydro Series H100 Extreme Performance Liquid CPU Cooler
NZXT Phantom Professional Gaming Case

Getting well over 100fps on Ultra,i did get a few problems with BF3 crashing but that was fixed by turning up the voltage to the GPU.

Lies, not with a GTX 560 Ti

With that system (which basically where BF3 is concerned, is the graphics card) @ 1920 x 1080 and HIGH settings you'll only get between 50-60 FPS

BF3 is 95% GPU dependent. Its already been tested and shown that top GPU's run @ +- the same FPS on an i5 with 2 GB ram as they run on a top i7 with 8GB ram.

That I can't believe. Unless your screen resolution is 800x600 and you play in windowed mode.

I agree. I dont even get those FPS with a GTX580. I get about 60-80FPS on my rig. That is with the game running on SSDs and an overclock to 4.6GHz

I can run the game perfectly at medium settings @ 40 - 60fps @ 1920x1080. 15 - 20fps on high.

I have:

Core 2 Duo 3.0Ghz
GTX 260
4GB 800Mhz DDR2 RAM

Just a question that i just thought of and have not looked anywhere for it but could you change the settings to run the game in DX10 or DX9 mode. Maybe you could get those frames but why would you run the game like that. What a waste if someone did.

As far as I remember its a DX11 only game.

Then i don't know how he got those frames with a GTX560Ti? Maybe it is a super overclock GTX560Ti with a GTX580 bios and watercooled Starship Enterprise Deathstar version. lol. Or it could be 2x GTX560Ti in SLI but that is not said in the post, but even if it is SLI GTX560's they wont get those frames.

Nope, else you wouldn't be able to play it with a GtX 200 series card.

Well its definitely not DX9

Minimum System Requirements
OS: Windows Vista or Windows 7
Processor: Core 2 Duo @ 2.0GHz
RAM: 2GB
Graphic card: DirectX 10 or 11 compatible Nvidia or AMD ATI card.
Graphics card memory: 512 MB
Hard drive: 15 GB for disc version or 10 GB for digital version

Running mine on ultra and it is ultra smooth since I upgraded my machine. :D

Not sure of FPS, haven't installed fraps yet, but I would guess around 60 - 70.

i5 2500K @ 4.3Ghz
2 x 5850 crossfired
Asus P8Z68
8GB Hyper X Ram

I play it on Ultra @ over 100FPS even during hectic firefights. Smooth as butter. It helps alot to have SLI.

Pentium II 350 Overclocked to 352
Gigabyte P2N motherboard
64mb SD-Ram
Voodoo 2 SLi 12mb
Phillips Brilliance 17" CRT

Press Ctrl + Alt + S for an ingame view. Just do it where you won't get shot.

Ah good to know, thanks!

Playing on high with 40-60FPS (depending on condition and map, huge firefights usually drop me to 30fps when rockets ETC. hit.) at 1080p on:

MSI Radeon HD6870
i5-2300 @ 2.80 GHz
4 gig DDR3 RAM
Asus P8P67-M pro

Agreed. That is an antique. Those things go for big money now. Surprised you don't get better frames from it. I would have thought you would at least get 250FPS on BF3 ultra.

Freezes Per Second :D

I have a gtx480 SO (yes it is noisy) with vsync I only see a drop from 60fps every now and then on ultra with AA on.
