Nope, saw wrong. It is now at 36% downloading at 30kbps on my 384K line. Luckily we are going for dinner tonight so it SHOULD be complete by the time I get home.

did you run BF3 from within Origin?

I had where if I said "Check for Updates" it told me updated and when I was in BL it told me there is an update, but when I clicked on it to update it would launch Origin and tell me it's waiting for installation to finish.

so opened Origin and attempted to run it from there and it told me to update and now it's done.

I got that speed when I tried to download the game.

Not sure what it is downloading at because teamviewer eats a chunk when I try to view on my 384K line. Remember the patch downloading at 50K+ speeds. Thanx to proxy servers.

Can any1 guestimate how many online BF3 players there are in SA?

How should I know, I just logged into battlelog and sorted the servers by players.

4mbps Mweb,i am having the odd 'Disconnected from EA' Error now after a few Minutes of playing.

There is also more lag,i just killed 3 guys when i ran around a corner only to be pulled back by the lag.each one of them typed BS into the chat.

Few things in short:
1. Disable your ADSL router's UPnP
2. Disable the UPnP and SSDP services in Windows.

Last resort that worked for me was to Factory reset my router and reconfigure. Sorted most of my disconnects.

Lag on a 4Mb Line? My 384K line runs the game without too much lag and I TS too - granted that I have an uncapped, unshaped line. Check in with Mweb to sort you out. Rubber banding excluded.
