Hefty pc update for bf3 on its way

going to be interesting to see what they do to the air vehicles as well as the AA.

know in BF2 they had patches tweaked so many times to try and get these 2 balanced out nicely.

still think they failed in the end.
 
I like how he mentions their tough stance and even tougher stance coming regarding hackers and stat padders ..... now if some our local servers could grow balls enough to keep known stat padding clans/players in check, EA/Dice would not have such a hard time and would have more time to tweek the game for us much quicker.
 
I won't name names ...... lets just say that when the game was released, I was on the servers for 18 hours avg a day for 3 days straight and there were guys that in that same time who were double and in 3 cases I saw, almost triple my level. And before the "oh bu t they must just be better than you" argument comes out from anyone, on average these guys are like at most 2-3k higher on the scoreboard, no more.

Yeah I also saw this and thought to myself how the hell is it possible?
 
I wish they would fix the constant crashes, disconnects and non-loads I get. The latest patch seems to have made matters significantly worse to the point where I actually got 4 different errors and crashes trying to join a single game.

This here patch seems to work nicely for me though. The first 3 weeks of the game it was a nightmare to get into game servers with a 25-50 tries success rate. Now almost every 1st try gets me in. I do pick up now that there is a terrible stuttering / freezing going on mid game. Tried different setting but still there.

Well atleast for me this patch went in the right direction - go go go
 
Still getting black screen at every map rotation even though it is one of the issues that they said they "fixed" but I must say that overall its much more smoother and my loading times are much shorter so happiness all around :D

Smokeghost, I also have that problem when round finishes that as soon as the next one loads, it crashes. I checked in my event viewer... see here under, wonder if yours could be the same?

Before the patch I manually updated punk buster and it limited the crashes to some degree so it definitely does help but after the patch it has gotten so much worse and not only for me but for a lot of other people hopefully there will be a hot fix or something one can only hope
