Comic Books

Hmmmm Ok so we are into the issue 3's of the new 52. So far, I have really been enjoying these:

Batman
Batman and Robin
Detective Comics
Nightwing
Green Lantern
All Star Western
Justice League
Animal Man
Swamp Thing
Action Comics

I have also heard that Supergirl and Green Lantern Corpse is enjoying a lot of attention.
Then again, I have heard that the two comics that are not doing so well is Captain Atom and the Fury of Firestorm.

What are you guys reading at the moment??

Detective Comics (Dollmaker is awesome)
Green Lantern (no.3 WTF last page)
Wonder Woman (never looked at this before but man its good! Greek Mythology!!)

Action Comics started off good but I dont like the way they draw Clark (looks like Harry Potter) so i dropped it. Might get Sp's if it gets better.


Have you guys checked out Avenging Spider-man SICK SICK SICK stuff!!

Haven't checked out Avenging Spider-man, but I think it is going to be wild. Read up on it last week.

I must say that he is really bad-ass. A very cool addition to the Batman universe.
I must say that in Batman, I am really liking the Court of Owls arc. I am also collection All Star Western (featuring Jonah Hex in Gotham, late 1800's)...which leads me to think that somehow, the two stories are going to overlap. Don't want to elaborate on that in case I spoil it for some others.

I have the same theory for Justice League Dark, Animal Man and Swamp Thing.
 
im just glad i got in on the whole DC re doing everything. felt a bit daunting having to go all the way back and try catch up. at least this way im up to speed. the new DC series is shaping up to be epic

Couldn't agree more. This is the perfect time to get into comic books.
