The game is so addictive. Those that stopped on or before lvl10 are obviously not cut out for the awesomeness of Skyrim.

I reckon those are the people that were just overwhelmed by the openness of it. Too many people are so used to corridor shooters where it's always clear where you need to go and what you need to do.

That is also true. I remember the first time I booted up Oblivion and stepped out of that sewer with this MASSIVE world open infront of me.

The first time I stepped out of the sewers I was like 'ooh, pret- hey, a dungeon!' I then promptly cleared the Ayleid ruin across from the sewer (think it was called Vindasel, but I'm not sure). No time for sightseeing when there are bandits to slaughter.
