Skyrim Thread

Yeah on Xbox. Nope dont think it was a dragon he was facing off against that thalmor dude in the main college building there was a massive flash and quest told me to go outside and chat to the dude. Got outside and there he lay... fucked. Oh Well didn't want to do the mage quest anyways, was just doing it for the Dragon Priest Mask.

He's supposed to be dead. :)

I once speculated that with the 30x sneak attack ability granted by having the assassins blade perk & ancient shrouded gloves could allow the user to 1 shot a dragon... It works. Tested on the skeletal dragon inside labyrinthia with 30x 51 from legendary blade of woe.

Omega, where'd you get your blade of woe?

In other news, if anyone is quite low level and is interested in getting a nice bow. There is an Ebony bow inside a chest (no lock) ontop of the mountain altar south of Morthal. Just be careful as there is a frost dragon to the left with a shout shrine for you to learn as well.

On another note, last night is the first time that i killed a dragon without stealing his soul. But 5mins later when I killed another one, it stole the soul just fine. I could loot the first one etc, but it just stayed a corpse, it didn't burn up or anything. :(

That skeletal dragon is really weak though. Try it against a Bronze Elder Dragon.
But yeah I know what you mean, That's another thing that is slightly annoying, its awesome to do such insane dmg but it takes all fun out of the game, might as well just play with a trainer/cheats. My opinion though xD

Well yes and no. The thing about that damage is that it's entirely circumstantial. You have to be unseen - you can't just 1-shot everyone like that. I love dagger takedowns, but when I'm in the open, my ass is grass. Unfortunately everytime I use shouts etc. poor Lydia dies. She's always in the crossfire. I just don't get how she can get pwned by enemies and goes down on one knee for a breather, but if she gets an iota of friendly fire from me, she's toast. :/

Oh...and last night (lvl33 with dwarven bow + soul trap) I managed to take down a frost troll with a single shot. :)

Sneaking at higher lvl's becomes really easy mate xD Enemies pretty much walk into you, so every kill is a stealth kill.

@ Voicy: Blade of Woe is a reward for finishing the dark Brotherhood questline. I also have a once a day ability that turns me invisible, shadow clock of nocturnal which is a reward for finishing the thieves guild quests, I only use it when the need arises.

@ Joker: I find the Damage a bit on the game breaking side myself but to counter the insane damage I do with both my 135 dps Deadric bow or 152 dps dual war axe or the blade of woe (god killer - I 1 shotted mordikai) I upped the difficulty to expert and will up it to master later.

While it makes the game easy it's rewarding to see how powerful my char is for the almost 80 hours I put into him.

EDIT: did a quick calculation, stealth attack from the blade of woe does 1530 damage.

Yeah not enough to kill that Bronze elder Dragon.

I am taking a bit of a break from the game today..lol

Have a new issue. Anyone else done the hitting the books quest?? It keeps crashing to desktop when entering the final room at fellglow keep. Been to the keep 3 times before this and never crashed there.:(

Yeeeeeeeeaaah I reckon Skyrim could be made into a pretty decent (2+ hour) movie. Peter Jackson would probably get my vote to direct it. But no sissy PG 13... That just ain't right rak. :/
