I must have spent over R2000 for the Ultimate Xmen graphic novels

So worth it :D

Ok i managed to get a hold of the Spiderman comix and the Xmen comix but not what is the difference as I these ones are like more violent than the ones i used to read as a kid....

You say that like its a bad thing

no its not that its bad its just weird to see that everyone in the comix are full of apathy if you kno what i mean and its like not so kid like anymore :p but its pretty awesome i guess

Yeah I agree, I do have the original Ironman animated series - and compared to the comics nowadays its matured quite a bit

Yeah, the comics these days are more violent. I picked up a Hulk vs Wolferine comic a while back. It first shows the top half of Wolfy laying on the ground looking a bit messed up. Then it shows the rest of him........ there is no rest of him. The bottom half of his torso is gone. Hulk ripped him in half.

I thought: "Sh!t!!! Now that's a way to start a comic."

:D

That is a great issue if I say so myself :p

Finished Hulk vs Wolverine a while back, and the 1st issue was awesome, 2nd one was bit boring, and then there was the long wait for the 3rd one, and it got better from there, though I feel the ending was a bit "been there, done that".

I would say it's extremely close. Obviously a few things are different here and there, but other than that, it's a perfect copy.

How come? Do you mean 'not too happy'? Or is the ending epic? Like Dr Manhattan fighting Nuclear Hitler on Easter Island?

They didn't go with the same ending as the comic. It's still good but I was looking forward to seeing the comic's ending.

I loved the original x-men comics. Would read them over and over again. They probably would've been worth a pretty penny today but ALL my comics were lost after a fire so now I got to start it all over again...

i have many in digital format but never have the time to read it y'knw. maybe i shud steal a printer then print em all out, all the Batman Confidentials as well as the 300 Graphic novel,
for those of us in Cape Town, go to the nearest paper weight and check if they still have graphic novels, the really thick ones that are stand alone stories are lank cheap like 60 buck$ for the most
