Gamezone CoD Servers

Hey guys/gals,

Over the last couple of months we've been setting up a few COD 5 Waw servers.

196.2.128.106:28960 [GAMEZONE]TDM 1.4 (32 players)
196.2.128.106:28980 [Gamezone] Tactical OpenWarfare (12 players)
196.2.128.106:29000 [Gamezone] Custom Maps OpenWarfare (24 players)

We just launched a custom map server that features a few custom maps to mix it up a bit.
The custom maps download at linespeed IN GAME!!! So when a new map loads that you don't have you just need to be a little bit patient and download the map before going after your friends. ;)

The servers really nice to play on, even better if you are in CPT.
Once there are more than 4 players people start joining quite quickly. :)
Compare it to the others in HLSW.

Add me as a friend in the game and we can have some fun on the servers.

Ja, jammer dit het solank gevat om hier te post, maar was bietjie besig by die werk... Wel dis altyd besig. :P
Hoop regtig mense begin bietjie ons bietjie join op die servers.

Verskil is dat die admins actually op die servers speel en ons luister actually na die spelers en probeer hulle gee wat hulle wil he.
Wel in perke. :P
What does the rest of you guys think of the servers?

Yeah drift, shot for the post, problem is over here It's only me (ofcoarse duuuh) and OmegaFenix22 that actually play WAW. Others are FPS ZNIPER and Duncanbell/Terak, but not as frequently
 
Good to finally see another face from my nights of COD. Pleasure to actually "meet" you Drift. You fragged me a few times online. At last with you and/or Mappy there there are some people who actually play the game. As soon as i have cap i will be on again. Mappy told me you Crak guyz are gonna be pretty by busy dusting off your COD4 skillz in prep for Rage i think. Looking forward to seeing you guyz back on the server.

@ Mappy: My Cod4 copy should be here before the end of the week. Maybe if you guyz have some time we can run through one or two matches at some point.
 
Not that little old me will be much of a challange for you two but who knows i might get luck. When was it when i shot two guyz in a window on the outskirts map.... cant remember with it was hilarious. Xfire can mos record video? Sometimes i wish i had it on all the time so that some of those cool moments can be reviewed afterwards.

As I recall your name popped up a few times right after "You'ce been killed by..." :P But let's stop this before Maplassie starts boasting. :rolleyes:

I actually haven't played MW that much... More of a WW nut. ;)
But waiting for MW2 and I see you on the servers!

Oh and your name popped up after that same message, but with less regularity than Mappies when he's on the opposite team. WAW is my first foray into online gaming and im enjoying it. Looking forward to MW2 and Operation Flash Point 2. Im capped at this mom and PB was giving me issues Saturday evening so my weekend of WAW was replaced by a weekend of other less exciting things. Do you use HLSW also?

I will join you as well, will dust off my WAW...wait no I don't need the cd for mp. Anyway I like the fact that there are servers with 32 players, I played overseas maps with 32 players and besides the high ping the game was way more fun when the server was completely full, it felt like more of a team effort, we were pushing the frontlines rather than randomly shooting guys.

The custom maps also sound interesting.
 
Sounds Good to me. Ill advice you also to Get HLSW, click that banner in my sig for the site if you don't already have it. And ill say subscribe to the MyGamign WAW group so that if we post a game you will know about it.

I've got hlsw yes. Mygaming WAW group - Done.
 
Groovey, Add me as a Friend on hlsw and after the 1st when i have cap we will hit the TDM servers at night. What level are you?
 
Yeah, HLSW for the world!

Gives me a quick and easy way to check what server has what kind of players on there. Also a great way to find your friends on the servers.

We had a blast last night. :) The server got a lot of hits and had enough players to have some decent fun. :) Most of the night was "bolty only" games but later in the night we dusted off our Type100s and me and Plassie took each other on, on Dome. :P

All great fun!:D
 
Dome is a fun map, once knifed 3 or 4 guyz in the span of like 10 seconds on there. My cap is still buggered but come wednesday ill be on, looking forward to it.

I asked Mappy this so ill ask you two, whats ur fav gun & are you long range or up close and personal kinda player?

Me im in you face, thats why my kill 2 death ration looks so similar, get 1 or 2 kills then i die. But im improving.
 
I managed 97 Kills on dome with less than 35 deaths.

Dammit 3 away from 100 :(


WE Did have a blast drifter, till you went all admin on me :(
