Not sure how you can say it looks amazing from a 20s clip with no gameplay, unless you are talking purely about the visuals.

Generals was cool and I'd enjoy a sequel but considering this is being made by a newly formed studio with no relation to the original developers, it'll take more than a few tanks getting exploded to convince me this game is worthwhile.

Any game that's not like the last C&C can look however it wants, I'll get it for sure. Generals was awesome. The last one was kak.

The graphics. And besides Generals needed a sequel.

Rainbow 6 looks pretty sweet hey! Or the story at least. Seeing a lot of cool games coming in the next two years! Here's to hoping 2012 isn't the end of the world :D
 
All I am saying is just don't think it's good purely because of the name otherwise you're giving publishers exactly what they want, unwavering brand recognition/loyalty.

Why else would you start a new studio and call it Bioware Victory then task it's first game as a sequel. :)

Anyway, here is hope this turn out to be good, enjoyed the first generals.
 
Running frostbyte 2 it will be a super good looking game.

question is if our hardware will be able to run it imagine 300 + rendered frostbyte 2 units? hahah
 
Engine does not a game make. Engine is just a tool, it's how you use it that counts. :)

They have already used FB2 for NFS: The Run so I guess it must be quite flexible. Renegade Ops used the same engine (same developers) as Just Cause 2, thought that was quite interesting. :)
 
I actually got goosebumps watching it.

Just seems weird seeing a Bioware logo not in a RPG game.

yeah I feel the same but judging by boiwares track record combined with the frost bite 2 engine, I thin it's safe to say that this game is going to be awesome :D :D
 
I really enjoyed the original Generals, it was a nice change from the norm and not another Red Alert game...

I'm sure we will see more coverage on the game in the new year for sure. Trailer looked really cool :)
