Where to buy G35 headset in Pretoria region.

Well Christmas is just around the corner and i'm failing to find it at any of the local hardware stores,i would be grateful if someone can tell me where to find a G35 near the Pretoria region for a reasonable price (around R1k)

Stock shortage as far as I know, spoke to a supplier this morning and he said he was struggling to get them.
They are insane though...I love mine to bits :D
 
Why not try a bette cheaper alternative ?

the 5.1 coolermaster or my personal favorite the Roccat Kave `s

USB emulated 5.1 is not the way to go.
 
I also dont rate the G35's so highly, they are nice, but nothing special.

There are many 5.1 headphones now, G35's were among the first.

The G35's are Incredible!!!

I have owned Kaves, they were good, really good for listening to music while gaming but they don't offer the clarity of the G35's especially when it comes to online fps gaming, where faint footsteps need to be heard :p
That's why there is also a huge price gap between the 2.
 
The G35's are good:) but they arent AMAZING
My main issue is with USB headphones, destroys the point of my xonar:P

Where as some of the other headphones connect with the 3.5mm jacks and others have their own "sound card" so the sound is amplified better. G35's arent very loud.

Mmm i think you're going deaf mate :p
My G35's are loud enough to keep out 2x 6970's at full tilt..I'm not sure f you have heard the xfx 6970's but they are like jets when you have the fan set at 100% lol

I agree if you're running a sound card then yeah the G35's aren't ideal.

I agree USB headsets are virtual 5.1, try ROCCAT Kaves I just love that headset and it is analogue sound.

The mid range on the G35's are tinny when compared to the Kave's.
 
Ive got 2 clan mates that switched from G35`s to Kaves. I myself also have a set of G35s and Kaves. I would not go back to my G35`s.

I play competitively online in FPS games and I hear the best in my team. I always make epic calls and the headsets in my Team are

Senheizer pc 350s x 1
SS 7H x 1
Alienware tactX x 1 ( essentially a SS 5h )
G35


And i constantly have to make the calls

Rora ( Aw Tacts x ) also makes allot of calls,

ITR ( most likely the best cod 4 player in the country ) often complains that he cant hear what we hear,

Even at a lan as big as rage you still have perfect hearing with the kaves where other headies struggle.

for me its a 4 x 3.5mm input for 5 channel headsets or nothing,

Im not saying the G35s are crap, Im saying that my personal experience places the roccat kaves at the top of my list,
 
I'm thinking of going for Coolermaster SGH 6000 KK5R1 Sirus 5.1 Gaming Headset then.

I don't see Roccat Kaves on Zaps and G35's seems to be out of stock.

Mate if budget is not an issue...and you don't mind getting a good sound card, can I recommend this gorgeous headset?

They aren't cheap but can and will blow anything out of the water.
 
the pc 350 is a super headset.

Ive come to see the benefit of having a 5.1 headset for gaming. So id still recommend the kaves.

The CM headies are also usb :/ so if you are in a rush i suppose its good to get them but id really really wait for the kaves
 
I phoned the distributors this morning, there is no stock arriving until 3 February next year =/.

So you either gonna have to look second hand or buy something else.
