Battlefield 3 Physical Warfare Pack now available FREE

Found this on another forum, and have queued my update

DICE is leveling the playing field a bit today. Battlefield 3's Physical Warfare Pack, once exclusive to pre-order customers, is now available for free on the PC and Xbox 360.

The Physical Warfare Pack will unlock the Type 88 Light Machine Gun as well as the DAO-12 shotgun for use in multiplayer, assuming you haven't unlocked it already. You'll also get access to custom flechette ammo for the DAO-12, and a flash suppressor for the SKS sniper rifle.

You can grab the DLC through the in-game store on the Xbox 360. For the PC version, it will be available automatically. You should see some mention of the content being unlocked in Battlelog.

DICE unlocked the Warfare pack on the PS3 last week.

No, that's the multiplayer update, which includes the Back to Karkand expansion. This one just unlocks a couple of weapons. It's 108KB

so i get the back to karkand expansion for free or does it still need to be activated after its downloaded...??

If you bought the limited edition, then you will get the Back to Karkand expansion free, but if not then you have to buy it. They have done the same as they did with BFBC2 and the Vietnam expansion in that the latest patch includes the expansion, but you have to activate it to get access to it.

If you want the expansion, and you don't have the LE, you can get it here

oh okay cool.. well i'll hold off on that until i can either get EA to send me a new code since you can only use the online pass once or buy a new code... its so stupid that i cannot use the same online pass now... it says it has already been used.. it should be able to detect that i used it for my gamertag!!!
