Tinman's 7 favourite games of 2011

The only game I did not really dig was bulletstorm and Dragons age 2. But the rest is in my list.

  3. Batman Arkham City (PS3)
  4. Portal 2 (Xbox)
  5. Deus Ex Human Revolution (Xbox 360)
  6. Infamous 2 (PS3)
  7. Battlefield 3 (Xbox 360)
 
I like Tinmans list, only game I don't agree on is DA2..which was a disappointment in my opinion.

My list:

1. The Witcher 2
2. Skyrim
3. Forza 4
4. Gears of War 3
5. Batman Arkham City
6. Battlefield 3/ COD Modern warfare 3
7. Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception


You'll notice, that BF3/MW3 slot into the same spot, because I enjoy both and I wouldn't be able to enjoy either one if not for the other. That sounds strange I know.
 
Some good games in your selection, but, yeah, you might be a bit alone with Bulletstorm :)

Luckily he's not. I loved Bulletstorm. The most fun I had with a shooter this year.

Bioware genereally learns from their mistakes. So I am still hopefull they get DA3 right...

I can't comment on Battlefield 3 or Shogun as I've never played them. Bulletstorm was nice... I think it is how Duke Nukem should have been done, but I don't think I'd give it a spot in my top 7.
Instead of those 3, I'd rather add Batman Arkham City and even Saints Row (as I'm still playing it and not bored yet).

So, to sum up (PC platform only):
1. The Witcher 2
2. Portal 2
3. Batman Arkham City
4. Deus Ex
5. Dragon Age II
6. Saints Row The 3rd

I suppose I don't have a 7th place yet. Haven't played Skyrim or BF yet and I thought that Assassin's Creed or L.A. Noire would fill that slot, but L.A. Noire started to bore me very early on and AC is ok so far, but not amazing or groundbreaking or anything like that.
