No I prefer you see a great movie for what it was, an amazing interpretation of the original material. Robert Downy Jr is AMAZING as Holmes.

im a big fan of Robert etc but for me it just didn't feel special, sometimes movies remain in my memory for some time, some for ever, eg like the matrix, i wouldn't say its a bad movie by any account at all though, the acting in the movie itself is art....i just didn't enjoy it as much as i thought i would

No was more action but the plot was about the same, more focus on Professor Moriarty. Little details come together in the end in a big way, a true homage to Arthur Conan Doyle.
