Ubisoft DRM deactivates license when swapping graphics card

WAHAHAHAHA! This is fsking hilarious. It must be a bug or something in the DRM, why the fsk would they limit that.

/Is again happy he plays most Ubisoft games on console.
 
Ubisoft is currently the king of draconian DRM. They should just drop the PC platform if they dislike it so much...
 
yip ! my splinter cell conviction kept timing out when it tried to connect to the ubisoft auto updater thingy (384 line), everytime i start the game , eventually i had to resort to using a crack to enjoy the game properly
 
Option A: Pay R350, get treated like a criminal and have you game stop working after 3 hardware changes.

Option B: Pay R0, play the game as often as you like on as many systems as you like.

... and Ubisoft wonder why PC sales are declining (apparently).
 
Give them time for enough people to log tickets with helpdesk to annoy the programmers so badly that they remove the DRM.
Happened with Assasins Creed 2.
Wish they would just give it up already , every time theres a drm theres a hack released on the same day.
