I know this is an ubber noob question but i have unlocked the lazer guided shell for the abrahams which key equips the damn thing?

You have to select it first in the options menu were you select your classes go to Land and select for your tanks. Then ingame press to to select the alt weapon...

I hope someone can answer this for me...

When someone plants C4 on your tank and you kill them before they detonate it... How do you get rid of the C4 so that you don't get blown up once they've spawned again?

It TK is turned off, get a teamie to:
1. Plant "friendly C4" on the tank & detonate.
2. Blast you with a RPG, SMAW or fellow tank shell.

if he's got 3 packs on and you dont have reactive armour, the tank is done for.....

note:

Tanks without reactive armour: 3 packs on full health

Tanks with reactive armour: 4 packs on full health

IFV without reactive armour: 3 packs on full health

IFV with reactive armour: 4 packs on full health

AMTRAC: 6 packs on full health

jets/heli's, no idea...i did however put 2 packs of c4 on an enemy jet and detonated it when he was in the air.....im guessing 1 or 2 packs :D

Equip it in the vehicles tab then press F or 2 while in a tank to switch to it.

They aren't very long range but i hear Dice might buff them a bit so they have the same locking range as the mobile AA.
 
Battlefield 3 still takes so damn long to load into a level.. So badly in fact that by the time one team had half kills in TDM, then I only got into the game. It takes annoying long to load a level. Any help?
 
Takes long on my end too. Not sure why.

Either way, I copied the files from a friend and it started without a hitch. Really awesome so far. Everything is so fluid compared compared to BC2.
 
I've been 'planning' an upgrade since July. XD

Once it's in, the game runs fine, though. Granted, I'm running it on a mixture of medium and high, but it still looks amazing. It's just not a very pretty game. :<

But I foresee a long relationship between me and this game.

I got 8GB's of RAM and it's still takes about 2 mins sometimes to load, noticed that it goes a bit faster when I used ready boost.

If you haven't got a lot of RAM, try setting your windows page file higher (recommend 4gb - 8gb).

Not sure how your set up is, but if you have a separate internal drive, install BF3 to that.

Also make sure you've got the latest drivers for all your hardware.

That's all I can think of without hardware upgrade.

Yeah, but SGS has 3 Metro servers running all the time, and they're always full. :(

For some reason I'm not seeing the WAGE servers. Not sure why not. I think BF3's filtering might be slightly broken.
