A little off topic, but I don't wanna make a thread for something so small... Anyway..

What's the difference between NVidia (UK) drivers and (US) drivers? Apart from the UK drivers being at least 40MB bigger.

It's all the extra letters of the alphabet, like where colour would have been color for example. :p

My computer shows me "AMD Processor model unknown 2.80 GHz" as apposed to (I'm assuming now).. AMD Quad Core 2.80 GHz.

How can I fix this?

Even in post, it shows the exact same.

Why doesn't it detect my CPU type (if you will).

Not to mention the INCREASINGLY annoying stuttering I'm also getting...

Need for Speed: The RUN also uses the Frostbite 2 Engine, but it runs perfectly smooth.

In fact, what I've tested so far .. Only Saints Row: The Third, The Witcher 2 and Battlefield 3 have these stutters.
Any help?????

I know this sounds obvious but I've had countless PC's with this issue:

Have you installed ALL your motherboards drivers?
The reason I ask is that often times people install the display and audio drivers, and leave out the chipset drivers. Also perhaps try updating your bios to the latest version.

Try updating the bios, it could be the motherboard not detecting something correctly.

DGL is fun. Would do it again if I had the proper time for it.

Same was offered to play for a clan in DGL but, I work and study so gaming takes a back seat till about June for 2 weeks then its back to the grind.

Found BIOS settings, but no idea how to install them. It's a .BSS file. So I'll just leave it alone. Maybe it's a blessing in disguise that I can't do it.

What motherboard and model is it? Usually you get a program along with your drivers that does the BIOS flash and install. Gigabyte has one called EZ-Flash.

http://www.biostar.com.tw/upload/Driver//Software/T_Utility/T_BIOSUpdate_1936.zip - DL Link to the BIOS utility

Simply install and run, use the on-line update, it will download the latest BIOS version for you and then it will reboot, after the reboot enter your BIOS and set "Load optimized defaults"

thats all it's pretty simple.
Buddy, thanks a lot! Worked like a charm. Was going to download those exact files from the site, but obviously, was just too afraid of doing something harmful to my system.
