The Official "MyGaming" Anime Thread

Blegh. Late to this, but got curious when I noticed Mangastream had not released Hunter x Hunter, Claymore, Naurto, etc, for a second week running.

Turns out Viz Media pulled the crunch on them, forcing them to remove all Viz Media related products.

Annoying, since the Viz stuff firstly comes out half a month after mangastream's stuff, and secondly often has worse translations (americanized puns etc injected in).

While I understand that Viz is within their legal rights to do so, it's frustrating to see them do it for a product of lesser quality and worse time management. Not to mention, none of the cash that goes into them actually makes it to the original mangaka. :/

Try here: http://animestash.info/search/name/Space Battleship Yamato/sort/name

I downloaded an Episode from Space Battleship Yamato: Quest for Iscandar and it's in Japanese,as far as i can tell star brazers is english dub so this should be one of the originals.

and finishing off Book of Batora :) I usually wait till a series is completed before I watch it unless it's something I really want to watch like Gundam, or Fate/Zero.

Sad but true... Bleach is ending on march 27 2012, seems to be true googled it and go a few results from various websites

A recent television program listing in Japan reports that the Bleach television anime series will end its run in TV Tokyo's 6:00 p.m. Tuesday timeslot on March 27. When a Twitter follower of Bleach animation director Hiroki Takagi sent him an image of the listings, Takagi responded by saying, "So quick. I was going to paste it… /(^o^)\"

Shueisha, the publisher of Tite Kubo's original manga, had already announced that the weekly Naruto SD: Rock Lee no Seishun Full-Power Ninden anime will premiere on TV Tokyo on Tuesday, April 3 at 6:00 p.m.

Ja because it's the last arc. I don't think the Manga will end anytime soon though but it sad that some of the amazing battles that are still coming won't be animated :(

I will really miss my Wednesday nights and Bleach.
Seen whats replacing the time slot... SD Naruto Rock Lee spin off. SD for those who don't know is Super Deformed. AKA Chibi, or Tiny.

I really don't like chibi crap :/ Well apparently Kubo said that bleach was halfway when the fullbring arc started so there should still be tons of bleach left for us. Seems he is sick at the moment though so there was no chapter last week. Hope he recovers soon.

I'm hoping that at the very least they do something like they did with Inuyasha. They stopped the anime and then later when the manga finished up they went on with the anime and finished the story. I'll start reading the Bleach manga now that they won't go on with the anime, but I really hope that they will do the other parts in anime form as well.

Yup that would keep my happy.

Hoping for a OVA release, similar to Hellsing Ultimate.

O please no. If they are going to take as long with bleach ova's as they do with hellsing, then they should just rather not animate that arch at all. I won't have the patience to wait 8 - 15 months for a single episode to come out.

Hellsing was always worth the wait.
Got my Samurai Champloo and Ouran High School Host club DVD's yesterday setting aside time on the weekend to watch them.
