Guys. You are wasting your time and breath, really trust me on that.
Some Facts/Tips:
1.Petitions won't help, not even a little bit.Maybe 1 in a 1000 works sometimes.Any tit with a DSL line can create a petition and since the days of broadband most people/companies IGNORE petitions.
2.An MMO is hosted very differently than regular game servers. As with A-Net and NCSoft and most MMO Devs the servers are hosted in trusted, purpose built data centers.
3.The cost involved would be substantial.
4.Spamming forums won't help, most already know about the game, it will not change anything whatsoever.
5.You are going about it entirely the wrong way.Do not contact them first, contact someone IN THIS COUNTRY first who have the capabilities to host something so monumental.
6.Remember that the systems are different than regular game servers, if a shard or realm gets hosted it would have to maintain a minimum number of players at all times to be viable.
7.You are looking at maybe 10 000 active guild wars 2 players at the time of launch in South Africa, that is high-balling it as well.
Other countries have thousands upon thousands upon thousands of players, making hosting for the larger groups more viable.
8.Remember it works not for A SPECIFIC country but for a central hub for more than one country. And South Africa is low on the list of being a central hub for anything.
Not to be a naysayer. You guys need to stop this before you start spamming already busy developers with pointless things like this.Rather instead play the game first, test it,if SA players have difficulty playing(which I doubt) then give it a shot. The game is in Beta Stage, hold off on the guns until after release.
