As I've always cautioned with any big name release. A big name doesn't mean it can't flop - FF14. I'd love to see how much of what they set out to do... they actually achieved.

Arenanet achieved alot of things that they set out to do, the GW2 Manifesto videos from two years ago tells you that.
What happened to FF14 anyway, whats wrong with it? Grindy content, same gameplay as everything else, same combat tank / dps / heal, kill ten rats quests?
Im saying people not interested in playing the game shouldnt be in the beta, beta is there actually for the reason Arenanet uses it for, for testing. Not for people that want to 'try' the game and see if they actually are satisfied. Thats why I havent played in any Beta of FF14 / SWTOR etc etc etc because I know Im not going to play it 1) subs 2) same gameplay as WOW 3) grindy content because its subs based, somewhere there ARE crap to try hold you on to another month's subs; so rather give people the chance that enjoy that stuff a chance in beta...
Still sceptical and telling me subs-based games which ALSO sell the copy of the game AND sell items in a store for real world money, has better quality / content than a game that sells the copy of the game AND sell items in a store for real world money minus subs??

I stopped reading at "I bitch at people in the beta". I've possible done more betas than you went to the toilet. I'm a software dev, beta is pretty much part of my life and so far I've done betas to assist game developers as should any gamer being part of the beta else there is no point.

Yeah this guy plays millions of beta's...
He even got me a few key's and very gratefull for that so yeah even if he sounds sour he just look at it at a diffrent angle and I always find what he says very interesting since those are the things that matter in the long run in the games.

I have seen it for a while now but was not saying anything, but i kinda lost it now when he again insulted someone on the forum, he likes insulting people and think he is GOD on the forum.
Someone can't proof him incorrect then he throws a tantrum.
I think he should start developing software for his behaivor with other people, But he will be running alot off BETA's testing it by himself.

when I said that I wont be trying FF14 beta because its pointless, Im not going to play it because its got subs.

That after Arenanet never have done anything of that sort with GW, AND ALREADY said it will be the same with GW2, and told by others (yes Necuno once more CAPS LOCK FAIL!), with his cynical know-it-all brainwashed have-to-pay-subscription for a quality game cant ever listen or see past that mentality of his. After seeing videos you still think you have the right to say that if Arenanet didnt actually achieve EVERYTHING they said its not satisfactory? I say go back to your SWTOR subs game please, GW2 is not for you.
