I find this as hysterical as the next gamer, but someone seriously needs to complain about this. These bastards know they're causing a stir (an international one to boot) and are capitalizing on unsuspecting local gamers by guaranteeing pre-orders for a game that doesn't even exist yet.

Not only does this bugger around honest retailers, it smacks of a cheap marketing ploy to gain attention and customers.

Anyway, I've posted a question about it on their Facebook wall. Let's hope their reply is as equally ballsy as this pre-order.

Haha I am surprised people did not request a dividend on the funds they paid in 10 years ago for pre-orders cause it would have raked up a bit in interest.

No because pre-order has been announced with at least a tentative release date. Other than a few rumours from the bowels of the interwebz God of War 4 doesn't exist outside of a Design Document or Theorycraft doc somewhere on some dev's iPad.
