Holy Crap! Now that is something that I haven't heard in AGES! I used to watch the crap out of that show.
As for the Verge, I found it very irritating and loud. I was very surprised when I didn't see Michael Bay's name in the credits afterwards (they replaced content with bright neon lights and very loud sounds).
 
I'm not that sad to see the show end. It was decent when it first started but just went downhill from there.
 
SA's only true gaming show was once watching by many and enjoyed by a few even. Then they take a stab at gamers at rAge, SA's mecca of gaming... shortly after, they stop airing.

Gotta hurt.

Apparently (according to friends that lived in the UK) it ran all the way untill 2010 and then it ended.

Yes, I can see that becoming very successful.. dont have to be on Live TV can always make it a youtube channel.
 
All we need is a DSTV channel that broadcasts Gametrailers.com video's, GT.TV, Pach Attack, Retrospectives etc.
How cool would that be.

I watched it a few times but the video quality was to low and all the sms and news feeds cluttering the screen just irritated me.

I think with the internet and sites like gametrailers these types of shows are obsolete.
 
Do any of you know, offhand, whether there are any excerpt from "The Verge" on Youtube? Youtube is blocked at work, so I cannot check that now.

I don't have DSTV, and despite the flak the show has received, would like to watch it and decide for myself.

It was on youtube, thats how we all saw lalla insulting people at rage,
 
Dont have dstv, but saw the show once at a friend.
Couldnt believe the crap that was shown... Not to mention the 'insulting gamers' debacle...
So yeah, not sorry for its cancellation.

Cybernet was wat got me firmly into gaming at a young age. would be awesome to have something similar return - or like suggested, if mygaming does something. can only be good :)
