Well Musica is charging R 499 for Diablo III std. Ed. Takealot was charging R399 prior to it's release date announcement now it's R 429 (as much as i would pay with staff discount)

So, as soon as GW2 is listed on TA I am ordering the collectors, unless it's R1000+
 
I just remembered I have a new CC coming next week - as much as I hate the idea of actually increasing my debt, it looks like I might be grabbing myself a CE after all :3

Sucks could buy it from CNA on my edgars account, but I doubt CNA would ever get the Collectors. :/ *sigh* I really want it.
 
I used the R200 voucher I got from kalahari(Killzone 3 bundle screw up) to pre-order the standard edition. Only had to pay in R49 :D.

Wow already? That's a fantastic price actually, but a tweet arenanet made this morning makes me weary.

Our official start date for pre-purchase/pre-order is April 10th. Any transaction before that is not authorized by NCsoft

Yeah, not quite sure where Kalahari gets that price from. But if you buy at that price, I don't see how they can make you pay more when they find out it costs more.

Pre-ordering

If you'd like to purchase a product that's on pre-order simply click on the pre-order now button and the product will then be added to your basket. You can add pre-order products to your basket together with any other products available on kalahari.com however your payment options will be limited to credit card and a separate parcel will be created for your pre-order item.

Once you've added the product to your basket, proceed to checkout and click on pay via credit card.

Note: Products on pre-order can only be paid via credit card. As per any credit card purchase, the amount due is immediately collected from your credit card when you place the order. If the list price has decreased at the time that the product is released we will add the difference to your account as profile credit. If the list price increased we will take the knock, you will not have to pay additional charges.

Was going to pre-order from kalahari... Credit card only.... No thanks. I will stick with Takealot.
 
Ashamed to admit I am pretty much sold for this game now (contrary to my previous opinions).

Just want to clarify, without having to dig around too much because I'm on mobile:
Can we thoroughly pre-purchase locally on the 10th? Activation keys will be mailed to us as soon as the payment has been cleared right?

Yes you are correct although I'm not certain if keys will be mailed immediately. My guess is we'll get them a week or two before the next closed beta.

Good news about the next beta's is that there will be no NDA in effect so we can post opinions, videos and screenshots to our hearts content. :)

I have emailed ArenaNet today asking about this as there is some confusion going around about the pre-purchase option. Will report back as soon as i get a reply

As far as ive heard, the digital deluxe is only available from arenanet for pre purchase. retailers are only getting the standard and the CE
 
Wait until there is a release date. Takealot says its the 29th of June. WTF did they get that. Wait for the 10th then check and see.

The Fuuuuuu~!? I will stick to my std. edition I'm getting a lot of cool stuff from the HoM anyway which is probably available from day 1.
