Yeah, but I had to see if the finances allowed for it, and think over whether I really wanted to spend R200 for the game again, just to get the bust and poker set.

What a crock of horse shit. I placed 2 orders for these, about 30 minutes apart and when I did the 2nd one there was still stock. In fact when I went to check the NEXT DAY there was still stock.

Surely these chaps have a logical system in place where they can specify the amount of stock they have and once bought it will stop people buying the item?

2nd time this has happened with Kalahari.

Edit: Meh seems like no ones orders were processed, not even the guys that placed them the night before. Sounds like they made a boo boo and are now blaming no stock, either that or they exactly 2 in stock. :rolleyes:

Yeah dude, same here, and apparently all over the show. I would say hundreds.

I also ordered The Witcher 2 CE and will be really upset if they can that as well. I will unleash a zombie apocalypse upon them!! :mad: And this will occur just as my order was placed, which could be anytime. :cool:

The question is, is there anything we can do about this or are we forced to just accept their lies and go on with our lives? I ask this because I feel like I've been wronged in so many ways with this BS response...

I just wanted to clarify what happened.

The item was on special for R199.95, however it was based on very limited stock.

We had a system error over the weekend, and even after the item went out of stock, the add to basket button didnt fall away.
This means that you were buying a product that wasnt available anymore.

Most of you (Aprrox 80%) purchased the item just after it went out of stock.

Again, we apologise for this, but it was out of our direct control.

The PS3ZA forum is going nuts over this issue. . .and I tend to agree with a lot of the users there.

Kalahari really screwed up. They say there were only 100 units available and all were sold out shortly after and that they had a system error hence the reason people could continue to buy the controllers.

Personally I call BS on this as not 1 persons order has been honored. Surely, SURELY 1 person out of 3 sites (mybb, Mygaming and PS3ZA) managed to get one of those 100 sold? Maybe not.

Anyway, no point crying over spilt milk :p


Edit: O wait I see someone on the PS3za forum got one, o well.

So interested to know if anyone got this. I ordered at about 22 30 on Friday 23rd and my order was unsuccessful. Another guy claims to have ordered at about 7pm on Friday and also was unsuccessful. So what time did it start and did anyone actually get one??

I think they actually meant to mark the killzone3 collectors or limited edition WITHOUT the controller for 199 like the witcher 2 and deus ex hr collections for 199.

So the killzone3 with controller is out of stock but I get a sneaky suspicion that we may see it back on the site at a much higher price soon.

I don't have a problem with them running out of stock but I get highly pissed off when lied to.

Well so far I haven't heard of anyone getting one. I think its a load of BS to be honest. My opinion is that they screwed up and are blaming it on stock.

My Witcher CE hasn't been cancelled and also haven't received an email saying it has been cancelled.

I wonder what the story is.
 
Only Kalahari so far part BT games has the tendency to can your order and say lack of stock. This happened to me when I was trying to get vegas CE, ended up going back to Take2 and getting it from there.

Yip, my Witcher 2 was cancelled. Epic fail from Kalahari. And it seems our Kalahari rep didn't stick around very long, sent him a PM yesterday I think and no word. I will stick with TakeAlot, never have issues with them.
 
Got my Witcher 2 CE also canned this morning. I was really p'd!! And this almost a week after order. Why couldn't they just cancel the KZ3 and Witcher at the same time, and spare me some disappointment. At least I got a R200 voucher for the KZ3 fail, but two orders cancelled just killed it for me.

The cake is a lie!!
