I really am enjoying the patch. It took me about an hour to get use to it.

I love how the helis feel now. :D
 
I have found some problems with the patch,jets behave differently according to the map.played Caspian Border with the Russian jet and for some reason it wouldn't go as fast as it should.i tested the speeds with someone on the US side and theirs is way faster.
 
Lol I shot at a heli in the distance with my tank and some how it hit it the oke raged :p
 
BF3stats.com has become a useless site for me now for some reason, since I can't view my stats or make sigs anymore.

Don't know what went wrong.

Patches: You fix one thing only to break another.
BF2 went to patch 1.5 before it was all fixed, BF3 is on 1.4 (I think) and they still fixing things. I must admit DICE is trying their best to fix everything. They could have just left BF3 as is at launch.

For some odd reason my game doesn't maintain consistent framerates anymore. It was running 50-56 avg fps, and now one minute its running smooth and the next... well, not so smooth :[
 
Meh.. Just Meh...Hitreg felt a bit better but server lag is still an issue. Not the heavy lag like we had but its almost like packet loss type of lag. I would shoot the knob 1st in the head and he 1 shots me with a pistol. Obviously on his side he probably pressed the skin of his finger.

Well at least the ejection seat for the jets now work right,i don't like the way flares and heat seekers behave now.flares no longer breaks the lock and they distract guided missiles even if you keep it laser designated and if an enemy locked on to an ally air vehicle next to you and he throws flairs one or sometimes both missiles decide to go after you instead with minimum time to react.

below radar works pretty nicely but AA now shreds any flying thing to pieces in less then 2 seconds even disabling things at long range.

Also you can now count on the AN-94 and G3A3 being a snipers worst enemy.bipod is now a nice option.shooting out an entire M60 200mag and G3A3 clip with almost no recoil or bullet spread while the bipod is up.

Not sure but it seems MAV motion sensor was nerfed so it only picks up enemies that are sprinting.

That's awesome, the guys in the choppers and jets were untouchable. Especially when there were no other good pilots in the enemy team. They should also limit the amount of flares jets and choppers can carry to around 5.

The only crap thing now is you get fucking tards going for the AA and then sitting in the middle of no where trying to take out jets and choppers by being a p*ss*..I hate that...get in the action and pawn them, the AA tanks make awesome anti infantry weapons as well.

But now choppers don't stand a chance,AA and SAA both make it so that choppers and jets shake so your more likely to be tipped over and crash in a chopper by the AA bullets then be disabled.

Luckily it was nerfed against infantry,takes like 5 seconds to kill a single infantry.

BF3 is supposed to be realistic, and the Jets and Choppers were way to OP.
They still are considering there is one AA tank in a map, and then you get a clown in it sitting in the middle of no where using it.
It should be fair, but its still really unbalanced, I doubt DICE will ever get the balance right.

AA used to work at close range, and was kind of tricky to get damage in, if any from a distance. Now its a tad bit too powerful. They should have lessend damage at range, and kept the acuracy.

Nope...Balance is everything.

I have noticed some of my fav guns now feel like shit...Just doesn't feel the same after the patch...
They'll never fix the game lol...

Unlucky man. Would have been a lot more competitive if your 8th could have made it thats for sure. :(

Wow, i was shocked how the game has changed since the patch.
Vehicles are so weak now and repair tools so slow. You dont need to be coordinated to take out a vehicle anymore.
Just randomly spam some rockets and the vehicle will go down soon enough.
Also need to find a proper engineer gun!

Epic Engi gun...well for me an anyway.
 
Got some funny and (close calls) dogtags last night.

Guy was proning underneath a footbridge on Tehran Highway... Ran around him while getting shot, and I still managed to snag his tag, though the animation was delayed. It's like I stabbed him, but the camera just panned down, no actual animation actually took place ... Weird.

Another (Support) came into a building (Siene Crossing), I was by the entrance, don't know how he didn't see me. Followed him up (3 Flights of stairs, I think it was), before eventually taking his tag as well ... It was just too hilarious.

And another few where I got a tag just before an enemy killed me. That still counts as a kill (and tag capturing) right?
