I have to agree with Strifehart here. There is absolutely nothing special about those prices especially when your direct competitor has them for significantly less. Ultimately people vote with their wallets.

Agreed. Crappy special. Nothing interesting and crappy pricing. Im also looking to buy a 360 wireless controller for windows, which I couldnt find on your site. I emailed the query with the takealot sample link this morning, but havent gotten a response yet. If dont get a response by tomorrow, Im buying from Takealot.

We're not ungrateful. We love Kalahari and offer constructive critisim, albeit in an ungrateful tone. In doing so they know what the community thinks of their pricing. They can then offer better specials and get more sales while making it a more attractive offer for the consumer. Win-Win.

I think calling us ungrateful is perhaps a little harsh. We are simply highlighting the fact that the 'specials' that Kalahari are running simply don't compute. A special is typically a purchase whereby the end user saves money, enough so to generally get the consumer excited, even slightly.
However in this case, vanquish @ almost R600 vs Takealot's R129, really doesn't excite me.
And just to clarify it is nothing personal to Rammone, I applaud the work he is doing on here, but at the end of the day if they are running specials that really are not special at all, I will let them know. I don't think keeping quiet is going to help them.

Grim, to be fair this is what goes on all the time in advertising (sweeping generalization I know). Think of the weekend ads between say Game/Makro/DionWired/PnP, where each make claims about their prices.
If you compare their prices, nothing 'special' about them either.

Very important indeed.
My Witcher 2 got cancelled on Thursday 29 March due to stock which was ordered with my KZ3, which was cancelled on the Monday. By Wednesday I was convinced that at least my Witcher 2 order went through after the whole KZ3 dilemma; and low and behold, on Thursday I got that mail and was notified like a baaaws of the epic news
- 4 working days later. Didn't get my refunds yet, will check in with the infamous Peter tomorrow morning.They got Dax, but Jak was unavailable so they had to settle for Peter.
No offense - just kiding; I still buy my shiz from Kalahari and Ramone provides legend service.

The prices were going to be great but Kalahari had to give us all R200 vouchers, now they have to mark everything up! 
So maybe it's our fault.
