We are experiencing some issues and have temporarily removed the self add function i will give feedback asap.

OK we had a bit of an issue and seem to have sorted it out. We have had to remove the self adding of players for now.

To get your name on the leader board you need to play a minimum of 30mins of BF3 and your country in Origin must be set to South Africa and NOT hidden.

The site checks for people, using the friends list it will add friends of friends of friends and so on. It does this every 10min.

Peeps, we need to make an effort to stop people from playing Metro maps 24/7.

Geez, some days, the only servers with people on are the Metro only servers -_-. Seriously fsking BF3 into the ground in ZA. Does anyone else agree? Or is it just me that feels this way?

Yeah dude. I can't stand it. I do however miss my kharg island server :(

I play where its Lag free and where people play xD

Unfortunately that just so happens to be Metro pretty much 80% of the time.
Sux I know lol Thing is a lot of the COD guys are playing BF3 now and I think they mainly play Metro because its almost close Q combat which they are used too, I know this is how I started lol.

I get what you're saying 100%, that's the reason I find those type of scores hilarious. I really enjoy the open vehicle maps (Caspian being my favorite map), I think the mindlessness of Metro is attractive (even to me sometimes) as a person has to put in very little effort.

DM, you guys must add some more maps to your server man, not just Kharg Island (I think that's your server :S). We also need more comp servers, with the comp maps (Seine, GB, Noshar, Damavand and Metro in rotation).

Metro is pretty fun for warming up, but geez, when I search for servers, I just see Metro24/7, Perma Metro, etc, and they're always full and the lekker servers with all the maps on rotation are always empty. Such a sad sight to behold, really. It would also be nice to get all of the community to play together more often. I rarely see for instance, a full RFH team playing on a server in an epic battle with NSD on the other side or what not. You know, like, get all the okes to play together more often. Where's all the other okes from the new clans? Like SCG that whipped the shit out of us last night?

Feck man, we need to do some pickups, more friendly matches and shit. Keep this game and community alive. Instead, people are mindlessly playing one map every day. (Can anyone say CSS?! Dust2 anyone?!)

I'm getting really tired of getting 100+ kills against new players on a metro server for 50 rounds in a row. It kills me inside, rofl. Just really takes all the fun out of the game, and in the end, you learn absolutely nothing new about the game.

That's the mission....haha, and that's going to be a huge mission. Need to somehow encourage pickups and spark some interest. I mean, if all the SA clans can get the ball rolling, we can start playing pickups every day. I mean, you just go into IRC, check if there's a match, register and there you go, right? Hopefully that will stir up some interest with the "non-clan" players as well, encouraging to join or start a team and get their hands dirty.

I mean, the thing that I think is lacking is that there isn't really an easy way to just jump into a match with another team. You have to organize with them, see who's online, see whom of your own people are online, make a time, date, book a server bla bla. Just imagine how cool it would be if you could just play whenever you want, against whoever that's keen at whatever specific time. Like the CS pickups were back in the day.
 
+1 to pickups idea :) I'd be game for sure! Rambo I think our server was set to Metro coz no one joined when it was anything else. Even when Bazaar was added to the rotation people left. Really sad :(

Yeah that's lame man. I tend to look for the servers where all the clan okes play since I want to get some practise, but those servers are all dead these days because all the damn Metro. People still come to our server lots, but it never stays full for too long. The okes probably quit and go play metro for all that I know! Way to buzzkill ey.

I actually recall seeing some oke come onto a Metro map and tuning the people "Come guys, please stop playing Metro the whole time, it's killing battlefield 3". Noone even replied lol... I couldn't agree with that guy more. Sigh. What are we to do...

Anyhoooo.. the pickups will be damn awesome if we can make it happen somehow. Geez, that way you could easily play 2 or 3 clannies a night just for fun. And imagine what awesome practise and experience that would be. Not to mention a shitload of fun!! Clannies = 50x better and more fun that pubbies. If I could, I would ONLY want to play clannies.

Well I know a lot of servers die because of stacking and spawn forced-lovemaking. If clans could also perhaps split up until other clans arrive on a game.
 
I think we also need to adopt a culture of inviting each other to some of these empty servers... I think we each should have enough friends on Battlelog to fill up a server. On average I'll have 11 friends online when I'm online... Just a thought.
 
Pickups is loads of fun I will be interested, and will also support the initiative I am sure the whole SS clan will play when they have a chance.

PS. That oke knifing you the whole time last night was kark funny dude. I was laughing my ass off. So much so that I couldn't watch your back that efficiently :p
