Yeah! Just got another PM. Kalahari are shipping the physical unopened box, not just the keys like BTGames and Takealot. Should have mine tomorrow.

Also, they still have some stock, for those of us that still wants a pre-purchase copy..
 
Must be the first MMO launch that I have ever been part of where I could not really give a damn about a 3 day headstart or fluff items. Not sure why, maybe it is because I have gone through these motions more times than I want to count and after the first week, the few days headstart and fluff items were old news.

See you guys and gals at launch, whenever that is.

I'm a little annoyed that Takealot just sent me the key instead of shipping the box with they key in it.

Thats because maybe quite possibly could be...

Standard Edition (Europe)—Customers will buy the Standard Edition Pre-Purchase box and receive their serial code. This is the only serial code customers will receive and will grant access to the Beta Weekend Events, three-day Headstart Access, the Hero's Band digital item, and full access to the final live game. Customers will not need to return to retail to receive another serial code.

I'm not sure I see your point? The way I understand it is that pre-purchasing still gets you a box with the serial in it. Might not be a DVD case, but I think it's still something that's nice to have.
 
There is a link for an older beta client that I have, but I don't know if the files will be used at all for the new build. It's legit, it even from the guildwars2 website source. But don't know if it's wise to dl it..

Yes I did, I ordered late last night by the store and got my key early this morning. You guys at Takealot got yours yet? Registered and ready for the massive download here, which I'm hoping is going to be officially available soon.

I blame Anet for making so many silly versions to buy.... All I know is when it's released I get a Key (or a DVD). As long as I get my game I am happy.
 
Not going to bother with that client then. But I do hope they send the download well in advanced so can download it in time. I reckon 15gb would take me about 5 days to download 384kb.
