Relax. Your post is one of the good ones. I just finished reading your contribution. You have at least put some effort into yours. Let the voters decide. You'll see how much people appreciate good content that is original and well written.

Considering the value of the prize there should probably be some restrictions on who can vote, like more than X posts and registered for longer than Y weeks.
 
I wonder how the other articles fared compared to these or was it a fairly easy choosing process in the end?
 
I'd be somewhat unhappy if Ichigo (currently leading) wins based on that post. Nothing against him, but large parts of that post are not quite correct. Undoubtedly lots of people noticed but didn't shoot it down because that would be unnecessarily harsh. Its valiant attempt, but definitely not on the same level as some of the others.

Which parts were incorrect, it seemed to go well on Mybb and made it to a sticky

Not particular keen on making a list, but I'll give you an example. All those things you labelled as "DNS"...none of them are DNS related. There is however one actual DNS server in your tracerts...which is labelled "Google's Website". Not all that far off the mark since (Technically its Google's public DNS server - but it doesn't host any websites)

Minor issues - but enough to make it a not entirely winning post, esp compared to some of the other posts.
