So it looks like there is another stress test this coming weekend, which means no Beta Weekend Event. However, it looks like some pre-purchasers that were not part of the first stress test was invited to this one.. So hold those thumbs and cross those fingers!!

I'm not breaking an NDA by saying that I have not received a stress test invite. :)

Friend of mine that's been playing in the betas and who I shall not name (for fear of NDA beating his ass :p )... said he can play fine on his i7 laptop with a newish graphics card. Fine as in full graphics :p

Yeah I just want to be sure I can play at 1080p with maxed graphics and not dip below 30fps in those crazy situations.

Arenanet confirmed over twitter that there is no stress test this weekend, that post is BS.

They really are beautiful cards, though the 4850 was always a piece of junk to be honest. as i said above i run 2x HD4890s and they handle anything and everything like beasts! I had a span of issues with nvidia cards and overclocking them was troublesome to say the least... then I used to run a 5750 which was an amazing card, but it just didnt have the oomf i was looking for, then i decided i wanted to try crossfire when i was given my first 4890 and i havnt looked back. Ive actually converted my whole system to the AMD/ATI platform just so that all the hardware talks to each other better, oh and the overclocking on ati is BEASTIAL!!

Once ive got my corsair H100 the saving for 2x 6870s begins X(
