No dude I was trying the unlocked support guns and I needed to get use to them so I suppose it was that.

Ag I am still into it just get annoyed when someone one kills you one shot after you emptied a clip in him(It hit him)

You should try and play some pickups ;)

was ossum!!

Regarding pickups -
It is fun, isnt it.
A lot more challenging than a pub. Its still o clannie but atleast you play with competent people and there is a vague strat. Certainly wont ever feel like raging at your teammates.

Yeh dude, pickups is the bee's knees. I just can't seem to be able to even remotely bear playing on pubbies after having played some pickups now. It's like playing with people with a brain :O

Game Mode: Conquest 32 player
Ranked or Unranked: Unranked (all weapons should be unlocked)
Version of game: Battlefield 3 Back to Karkand
Competitive format: 8 players vs 8 players
Class limits: None

Map and Side Selection: DGL Map Elimination System (see general rules).

Match format

During the leg (week 1 to 6) each match consists of two maps. A match is won when a team wins both maps. A draw is possible if both teams win a map each.

A map consists of two halves (rounds). A map is won by the team who has the most combined tickets at the end of the two halves.

To decide which map is played, teams will eliminate maps.

At the end of each round, the team manager will take a screenshot showing the remaining tickets and team line-ups. Once the match is completed the managers must post the score in their match thread.

If a team makes a line-up change, both team teams must take a new screenshot showing the line-ups.

Map List

Noshahr Canals
Tehran Highway
Grand Bazaar
Seine Crossing
Damavand Peak
Operation Metro

All maps must be set to their smallest size.

Please note that we have had to remove the Karkand maps as they do not show the ticket count at the end of a round. We will include the Karkand maps once DICE have fixed this bug.

Each map may only be used once per match.
Team Line-ups

Players per team: 8
Maximum Reserves per team: 4
Minimum Reservers per team: 2
Player or Server Disconnects

If the server crashes, the round is replayed on a new server.

During warmup teams may not team kill one another.

If a player disconnects during a live round, gameplay will continue. It is the players responsibility to rejoin as soon as possible.

Official reserves may be brought in to replace a player who has disconnected. The team managers must take a screenshot of the new line-up to show the latest line-up changes.
Screenshots and Match Reports

Team managers must take a screenshot of the following:

1) The line-up at the start of round 1.
2) The score and line-up at the end of round 1.
3) The line-up at the start of round 2.
4) The score and line-up at the end of round 2.
Servers

All matches must take place on the SGS Server on Demand servers using the Standard SGS configuration.

In the event where the SGS servers are offline or fully booked, teams may use a third party's servers as long as the server is setup using the Do Gaming League defined Server Settings.

Server on Demand settings:
Configuration file: "SGS Clan Server"
Server name: "DGL - Clan A vs Clan B"
Minimum duration of booking: 2 hours

For more information regarding the SGS Server on Demand system, please follow this link.

Play-off Specific rules

- All matches are best of three maps. To win, a team must win two of the three maps.
- Each Map consists of two rounds (or halves). The winner of a map is the team with the highest combined ticket count (round 1 + round 2).
- The number of tickets (GameMode Counter) must be set to 60%.
View Example image.

To make sure matches do not take an eternity to be completed, we have reduced the amount of tickets per round. Server admins must ensure the tickets per map are set to the following values:

Noshahr Canals: 150 tickets
Tehran Highway: 150 tickets
Grand Bazaar: 150 tickets
Seine Crossing: 150 tickets
Damavand Peak: 150 tickets
Operation Metro: 210 tickets

We strongly recommend all server admins use Procon to control and setup their servers. You can download Procon here.

Map Elimination during the playoffs

The knife round and map elimination process remains mostly the same. The knife round must be played, followed by the map elimination and side selection. Teams must eliminate only once per match.

The final three maps remaining in the map elimination process are played from last to third last. For example:

Team A Eliminates Map 1
Team B Eliminates Map 2
Team A Eliminates Map 3
Team B Eliminates Map 4 (played third/last)
Team A Eliminates Map 5 (played second)
Remaining map: Map 6 (played first)

Side Selection during the playoffs

Teams will take turns to select sides. Like Leg 1, the team who chose to select sides first will be allowed to select sides on the first and third map. The team who eliminated the first map will select sides on the second map played.

Starting the match and ready-up procedure

Due to the recent removal of the pause-time before the round begins, certain players with slower machines join the match well after the game has begun. To prevent this, make sure you load the map you are about to play before going live. Follow these steps:

Load the map you are playing.
Make sure the opposing team is ready and have said so (take a screenshot of them saying they are ready to be safe).
Restart the map.
On the map load, you are now live.
At the end of the first round, repeat Step 2 and 3 to begin the second round.

blah blah blah.

ok, i actually can't remember how Leg 1 went....(yes, i know...DORY!!) but didn't the win go to the overall ticket winner??

i.e.. Team 1 wins first map by 50 (round 1 by 25 and round 2 by 25) and team 2 wins 2nd map by 55 tickets (round 1 by 30 and round 2 by 25) so Team 2 wins overall??

or am i needing to go back on my meds?

As I understand it , it will be a draw if it is 1 map each, but hey I can be wrong lol. Theoretically I would say they need to go on combined ticket count....

i.e. if you loose map 1 by 50 tickets(both sides) and win map 2 both sides by 55 you should be the winner
But then you can argue that some maps might suit one side and bot the other so yeah looks like one can draw...

If this all makes sense

yeah but that is why the 1v1 knife is important, winner gets to choose their strongest map so theoretically be in a stronger postion.

i forsee ALOT of draws in Leg 2

Yeh dude, pickups is the bee's knees. I just can't seem to be able to even remotely bear playing on pubbies after having played some pickups now. It's like playing with people with a brain :O

Yip, im gonna play a lot less pubbies now.
Also kinda nice to meet people and chat in the TS.
Lastly, this will serve as a nice learning tool for everyone, sharing tactics and playing with the good players.

I have been sick the last 2 days, but will play again tonight. Guess i will see you there :P

i'll mention it to the SiB guys about the pickups, could be nice to actually play with guys that know whats what.
