According the latest post in this Thread on the B.net D3 Beta Feedback Forums the EUs servers work now but there are still massive Lag spikes. Hope they manage to get it working better, but that said this is why they are having this stress test so we should be glad for things breaking now and not on May 15th.

Just realized that. I hope the EU servers are up when the open beta starts.

I actually doubt it. I have a feeling Bliz is going to throw as many people as possible on one server to stress test, and test server scaling.

EDIT: Just read Omega's post. Mine is an absolute gut feeling I had with no research done. Omega's seems more legit.

Does anyone know if it can be installed on a PC, then transferred to others? I'm currently stuck on a freaking shitty 3G connection, with a 2GB bundle :/

It should work fine, with minimal downloading to grab the contents of the Battle.net folder.

I think the stress test for individual servers was last week when they invited 250K new beta testers. This close to release localization testing seems more logical.

Unfortunately it does not seem to be possible

We tried various ways, but everytime it grabs 3.7GB :/

Has been tested : Works the same as world of warcraft.

Yeah, I only thought the way I did since there was no indication of the EU servers being live... until you posted.

I tried the "Select Region" thing last night while in game and there was no difference in latency whatsoever (options are: Europe, America's, Asia), almost as though it was a placeholder. Wonder if anything has been changed since then.

The chat functionality looks pretty cool and the trade channel had a wopping!!!! ... 27 people in it yesterday evening. Didn't make much sense to me. Maybe its still buggy.

I want to see the Battle.net integration now, seeing as though they say they patched that in to work properly in Patch 18 (the small patch recently).

Also, the article says 7GB to download, I can't recall the beta client being that big?

I am so stoked to see how much hype we have going in SA around D3. Many good grinding seshies coming up with some local gamers for a change
