This is in fact a sad matter... The father is to be blamed for leaving a loaded gun in the reach of a child. I just have one question, I dont know much about guns, but if the safety is off is it possible for a 4 year old to hold a gun (they a bit weighty) point it at his dad and pull the trigger and get a head shot on the first go? It doesnt say how many times the gun was fired, and is the trigger easy enough to pull? okay that was two questions.
It really depends on the gun. Consider where it happened, Saudi Arabia, why did the father have a gun? Was he military? Police? terrorist? In what condition was the gun. Most hand guns have a rather stuff trigger and I find it hard to see a four year old pulling it, however you get weapons with lighter triggers. There are however so many variables to consider, The fact that a single shot is all thats mentioned lends further credence to this being nothing more than a combination bad parenting and a horrible accident.

This one is the worst I have seen yet - Playstation 3 instructs 4-Year-Old To Murder His Father
No one of the stories I've check even questions why the loaded gun wasn't saftied and immediately put away and out of the reach of a child. I mean that's BASIC gun safety.
The moral of this story is, video games, like Rap music, is inherently evil and will destroy us all. Sony Playstation, causing our children to machine-gun us since 1996.
Very appalling to say the least:wtf:. They don't even try to mask their agenda... Propaganda at it's worst
The father made this mistake, it's nobody else's fault. Hopefully the son will not remember this when he grows up.
Here's an interesting response to the media coverage of the story: http://spong.com/article/26861/Madness-as-Unbought-PlayStation-Blamed-for-Child-Murdering-Father
Nice find. Care to share the google you used to find it?
Saint_Dee said:Tell me you're joking... Do you guys call this objective reporting? Did you ask the important questions when publishing this piece? Like, "How can we verify that the incident is connected to not getting the PlayStation?" or maybe, "Why was the gun not put on safety?", here's another one, "Does a four year old even know what a gun is?"... The list goes on and on... Moral of the story, your reporting is very sensationalist and misses the point completely and it's sad that this site isn't the only one putting a spin to this story... I mean really, "PlayStation 3 instructs 4-year-old to murder his father"?Serge Francois said:Ever been to the south? Kids know how to use a gun before their ABC's.
What Page is it on? or did it show on your first page?
