I was able to logon for a little bit made my character named Superstylin on Jade Sea then after video i got like dced sorta...

I think that pre-purchase should rather include 2 week head start and not beta access. Beta should always be about getting in people that really want to play and test. Not people that just want to play.

Found the reason for the FPS lag... the CPU priority for the launcher (and therefor the game) is set to low.

No, if i recall correctly they said you have to send everything via mail.

Probably the reason as well that you can send mail from anywhere and not by standing at a mailbox.

Sure, but what about tit for tat trading? You know, the usual person A offers X and person B offers Y, they both submit their offers then both click accept and deal done.

I just can't figure how this is a good idea?

I think it may be because they think that everyone will just use the commerce system... But wtf?
