No <3 for Incredible.co.za

A little while ago Incredible Connection had a sale on, 250GB Xbox 360 & Gears of War 3 Bundle. Going for R1700. Awesome right? So I ordered one, but experienced such bad service I will never use the site again.

Firstly they let me pay for an item which they then said was out of stock. So they decided to bring in more stock from Namibia :wtf: I had to learn all of this by phoning them and each time their response "Someone should have contacted you to let you know about it" Bullshit to save their own asses. Or someone just isn't doing their job right.

After 2 weeks had gone by since I ordered, I had to phone again and ask has this stock come in yet and where is it. Again "Someone should have contacted you to inform you it's on its way" I wonder who this "someone" is. This was on a Thursday.

The next Monday someone calls me saying they're delivering it that day. I heard nothing from them, turns out someone wrote my phone number down wrong so when I wasn't home the courier tried calling me but oh guess what you cant dial a freakin' 11-digit number. So then I try phoning back the guy who told me they're dropping off my xbox and they told me now I need a waver number...

So I phone Incredible and ask what is the waver number for this package. "Someone should have sent it to you" Holy sh1t.
The response then "We'll contact them to get you the waver number and we'll phone you back later today"....
The next day... I phone again and ask for the waver number. Response "I'll phone them and get the number". Screw that I went onto Facebook and complained. After that they called back within a couple hours and gave me a waver number and told me my number was written down wrong for the couriers.

All this trouble and it took 22 days for this damned xbox to arrive at my door. I'll never use that site again.

Strange, I also ordered one and I ordered one of those 27" Samsung monitors they had on sale. Both arrived within 2 days of placing the orders.

If anything I was supremely impressed with the online store. Did you phone the online store/department itself or the call centre? The online store's staff gave me my waybill number immediately when I phoned them. I believe their number is on the invoice if you log into the site and view the order history.

Yeah I phoned them about 5 times during this whole time period. Anyway I will just never use them again. 1st time customer experience was horrible.

Try speak to "Cranky" he is a member here and works for Incredible Connection at h.o as far as I know. My gf had a problem with IC and he managed to get them to actually respond (or so I think) but yeah send him a pm or something and he might be able to help you out

I KNEW IT! He posted a while back complaining that IC's preorder prices weren't taken into consideration for an article, and I just knew that anyone who would support such a crappy company had to be affiliated with them in some way. :p
