Nintendo TV Game Console & Handhold

Anyone remember that console where you had to blow the cartridges when they got dusty and had to push them hard into the console till it went in properly. The controls were rectangle simple things and then they made the handhold ones where you could play Donkey Kong on and was portable.

We use to play it on our old square box crt tv in those days which was a colour tv at least :D. I had the old pirated TV game console but worked just as well as the real nintendo one.

Whats nice is that we can use a NES Emulator to play our old games again if we dont have the console/cartridges anymore

My Favourites were (with the 100 in 1 etc. cartridges):
Mario Bros
Battle Tanks
Tetris
and many more...

The pirated console that I had, but was a different colour

The 2 screen handhold looks like a primative version of the DS, DS Lite, DSi and 3DS

That was the one I had. The exact one.
I played so many games on it.
From elevator wars,Excite bike,mario,Sky destroyer,Karate contra,Contra special forces,super contra,paperboy,wonderboy.

I had one I don't know what it was called(japenese game) but you where a ghost and you had to eat strange candy to get points while dodging dogs.

I Hated bomber man.
Battle tanks was so much fun I used to create my own level then put steal around the statue :p

Super contra I actually got very far without codes. It was such a hard game.

Paper boy was one of those games when you first play it you had no idea what to do.

Sky destroyer(I think it was called that)I always thought that the main screens music sounded a lot like Indiana johns music.

I remember playing contra special forces before I would go to school. Looking back it was a truly terrible game.

I had one game the name was in japenese but you where a chef and you had the food attack you. The one level there were pots and you had to jump on the bubbles to avoid falling into the pot. Its not burger time.

I remember playing doctor mario a lot. But funny enough I have a lot of memories playing these games at my grans place while she watched.

There was a game where you had to use the light gun but you still had to use the controller to aim. So my gran use to aim and I use to shoot so much fun.

Tiny toons was a very good game. I played that for many months :D

Where my days of gaming started.
This sure brings back some good childhood mems.
We would play for hours, getting stiff hands and square eyes.
If not for this, I'da been a gangster today. :D

Lol it sure was good times and hated the CRT tv's they use to hurt my eyes quite quickly, so happy with the new lcd tvs and wonder if the console will work on flat screens I presume yes but not sure about the resolution.

The memories on this sweet machine, Super mario world 3 and completing it nearly every weekend, Adventure island throwing hammers at dinosaurs, elevator action with the red doors to enter and the one final thing to add

this evil dog taunting you if you were lucky enough to own the light gun

Ah, the days...Golden China TV games were legend. Why cant they make 101 in 1 games nowadays. Talk about bang for buck :D Battle City, Mario, Pipeline, Joust, Ice Climber were some of my fav! My wife and I actually clocked Battle City on the wii a while ago. Was so much fun...

Would be cool if they remade these TV game consoles and cartridges for fun :D
