After playing the demo I'm convinced that this is going to be a good game, unfortunately I'm just not going to have time to play it this month.

Same here, I replayed the demo several times to get a decent feel for it & loved it. I think the thing that counts most against this is its release date, a week after Diablo 3 is pretty much suicide for anything RPG related, even if it is console exclusive.

Yeah, I'm surprised they didn't delay it at least a month. Oh well, I will get it eventually.

Same here. I think Capcom is keeping its release low key since there isn't a Limited Edition or any pre-order bonuses for it that I am aware of. It could be due to it being a new IP.

Got my Digital copy of Edge last night and it has a review in it for Dragon's Dogma and scored it a 7. Full review isn't available on their website yet.

Well I dont know what the hype is like in Japan but look at an IP like Demon's Souls, it was unproven & unknow. It slipped silently onto the scene and wowed the word through sheer word of mouth (the best kind of Hype IMO), Capcom seems to be doing the same & hoping that if Dragon's Dogma doesn't become a huge hit that people won't notice.
