Cybernet!

What was the program that replaced Cybernet's "video game program for SABC to show" I think it came on at 18h30 on Wednesdays. It was with a guy in his 30's and it was the first time I saw Commandos. I remember thinking wow that game is going to suck, barely any units compared to Command and Conquer Red Alert.
Anybody know what I am talking about.
I think it was called PC know How.
It wasn't a bad show.

Yeah I think there were only about 20 or so episodes that aired. But the guy was pretty clued up and showed quite a few tips and tricks for getting to run quicker etc. Kinda like a television version of PC Format maybe

yeah, Friday afternoons as far as I can recall, on SABC 2 I think.

My friends were outside, having a social life and such on a Friday afternoon, I stayed home to watch Cybernet :)

Lol. Dub and Cody on Tube. Wow! I'm really old, thinking back to just how long ago that was... Was still in primary school, watching Tube everyday... Then of course, ETV came along...

Honestly, I feel like kids these days are losing out on a lot. Presenters, shows and general tv is just getting worse

Wow, I couldn't remember the girls name. Could just remember the alien partly because of that "say it like it is, say it like it is" little rap thing that gets stuck in my head. Ah shit there it is again. Quick Diablo and Cybernet and Risen and and and chocolate.

I agree, I weep for the youth that have to grow up with justin bieber, hanna montana and the kardashians

One day I will raise my kids with the shows I watched, the music I listen to, and the games I play(ed)

Remember at one point they had a donut brand for tube. I hated that alien and wanted to rip of its head and shit down its neck.

I never had a single Dub's Donut or Doughnut. But, one doughnut's the same as any other right? Wheat, Starch, Baking powder, 100s & 1000s, chocolate coating, mint balls (embedded) :D

I'm yet to still taste a RedBull, believe it or not... But that's k*k's expensive now, jarre!

chocolate coating, mint balls (embedded)
favourite flavour EVER! :P

LOL! we're not old, we're just from a better era

Kids today don't have privileges like Cybernet today like we had back in the good'ol days

We were the lucky generation

I think back then we had less access to most of the things kids have today so we learned to appreciate. Like you said, sites like MyGaming have basically taken over as today's "Cybernets". Everything has moved online. You even get review shows on YouTube but somehow it's just not the same.

Yeah saw a couple of those youtube reviewers, but it just seems a bit.... amateurish. Guess it's just because we're used to better :p

YouTube killed Cybernet... No burial was held, and now... We've got YouTube to thank for "brilliant" reviews. No offence YT, you're awesome, Cybernet was just that much better :p

Man I miss that show. If there was a DVD Box set available I'd by it.
Brings back some fond memories... Although, I've always been a PC
Gamer, and the show became more and more about consoles over time.
