I've got a question... Why's the M16A3 such a popular assault rifle among the masses. Seems every Tom, Dick and 'What's-In-Your-Face' use this gun.
Its stopping power really isn't all that fantastic. It's nice looking I suppose, but it's really not that fantastic?

One of those what's-in-your-faces would be me, yes. I have 150 service stars with that rifle.

It's an awesome all round rifle. Good for CQ, medium and long range with excellent stopping power. You just need to know how to shoot with it ;)

Did I mention some of those kills were headshots? Those are the times when snipers really ekse.:p
 
Double XP: Additionally, it has also been revealed that starting tomorrow, May 12th, until Monday, May 14th, Battlefield 3 fans will be able to earn double the XP as they play throughout the weekend.

So, jets. I suck at them.

Anybody got some tips for a total noob? I really want to learn how to use them, but once I'm up there in the air I have no idea what's going on.

I'm thinking of buying the Air Vehicle Shortcut kit, but that's a total cop-out.

You need to rebind some keys otherwise you aren't going to have a chance

I gave up on the jets. There are people that can turn 180 degrees while you're not even halfway through a turn. Rather try the choppers, they're much nicer :D

That explaines why no double XP. Atleast we will still get it as I need every extra experience point I can get.

As for getting knifed, I cant help getting a fright everytime someone does it to me.
 
I was going to RAGE about a player [SAS]Archangel1824 being a real tart and throwing accusations around but naming and shaming is enough for me :mad:
 
I'm actually starting to get the hang of flying. Made 300 points from it last round.

It's not all that hard, I just need to get to grips with speed control.

The only thing that bothers me is the cockpit view is so limited, and due to the fact that everything is grey or brown or green, you'll often fly past a target, bank and be unable to spot it again until it's too late.
