Diablo III - General Discussion Thread

It was definitely between 50 - 51MB, I watched it very closely. Took only a couple of minutes to download.

I think it would be or perhaps 4GB? As it has D2 and LoD on it.

Yeah I think your right, D2 came of 3 CDs and LOD on 1 so if they used each disc to max capacity, which i doubt, it would be 2.8gb. Its going to be either 2 or 4. (I just had to google to see how much space a CD had :eek:)

2 Things!

1. Update your Nvidia drivers (GeForce-exclusive quality enhancements with ambient occlusion support for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, Diablo III, and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim)

2. If you have xfire and want it to detect Diablo III, open your xfire_games.ini file go to entry [6843] Diablo III beta and replace it with this
[6843]
LongName=Diablo III
ShortName=d3
LauncherDirKey=HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Diablo III\InstallLocation
LauncherExe=Diablo III Launcher.exe
DetectExe=Diablo III.exe
Launch=%UA_LAUNCHER_EXE_PATH%
_LAUNCHER_EXTRA_ARGS%
_LAUNCHER_NETWORK_ARGS%
InGameRenderer=D3D9
InGameFlags=ENABLE_MOUSE|USE_DINPUT_MOUSE|NEW_INPUT_SYSTEM

This is just a temp fix till xfire has a working update.

LOL I can't remember when last a game pissed me off so much.

It will not install no matter what..Just comes up with a message and code, when you click the code it takes you to the Battle.net home page...wtf...
